These are some of our permanent residents who also participate in our Educational Programs !

You can also SPONSOR one of our Ambassadors! Sponsorship helps that individual animal with;

Eeyore

Our old and ancient burro! Eeyore is a fan favorite!

Eeyore relies on a fully "mash" diet due to his lack of teeth! He loves ear and back scratches, and will do just about anything for a peppermint!

Kitty & Peach

These two big Percheron mules are a package deal!

Always together, and always looking for people to snuggle!

These girls also participate in both riding and driving programs! They are gentle and great at teaching people the ropes!

Dude

A small but mighty mule!

What Dude lacks in size- he makes up for in personality! This quirky mule is one of our sanctuary mules as he was a feral guy for many years and requires a very experienced handler. He has been a great example to showcase intricacies of training and gentling!

Mott

Mott is a sweet, lovable, and smart mule who helps teach people how to ride!

Mott came to us when he needed to retire his job as a mountain mule and transition to lower country with lighter work. This handsome boy loves attention and is as smart as he is kind!

Channing

That's right- a HORSE!

Even though we FOCUS on mules and donkeys, we still help horses too! Channing is actually one of our first surrenders and is used regularly as a riding horse for a special kiddo that "free leases" her. You'll see her in our programs once in a while, taking care of her kiddo!

Firefly

Firefly is an old retired ranch horse that safely lets people lightly ride him around. He still likes to show off his fancy buttons when he's in nice soft footing, but mainly likes spending his time hanging out with his best friend, Mott!
